Email your MP about rising water bills

We know that right now there’s lots of uncertainty with the prospect of water companies increasing their bills, and we believe that more should be done to protect older people on a low income across the country. Under the current postcode lottery of support, eligibility criteria and the amount of money you get off your bill vary signficantly by water company. This means that older people in financial hardship across England and Wales end up paying vastly different amounts for their water bills.

That’s why we’re asking the UK Government to introduce a single, unified system of support for customers struggling with their water bills. This would represent a significant step towards giving older people a sense of long-term security and consistency. But we need your help to make it a reality.
