New research from Independent Age shows that over a quarter of a million people older renters have a shortfall between their rent and the rate of Local Housing Allowance.

That is why we continue to call for the Government to uprate Local Housing Allowance to cover at least the cheapest 30% of the market so renters are not having to cut back on essentials to make ends meet.
