Too many are forced to cut back on life's essentials, like buying food or using their water and electricity.

We offer urgent help today and shape a fairer, more secure tomorrow.

Through our helpline, we regularly speak to older people, helping them to apply and receive the entitlements they need. Our research shows that full take-up of Pension Credit, Housing Benefit and Council Tax reduction could lift 280,000 older people out of poverty across the UK, reducing pensioner poverty by 15%.

regional-projects-overview Since 2024, we have given out nearly £9.9 million in grants to local organisations supporting over 70,000 older people across the UK. We often hear from older people who have received support in their local area and what a positive impact it has on their everyday lives.

Let's end financial hardship in later life

We want every older person to be able to afford to live well. That's why we're calling on the UK Government to take urgent action to tackle poverty in later life.
